Team and Experience
Pollux is proud of its technical team, formed by outstanding professionals graduated in some of the finest universities in Brazil, United States, France, Italy and Mexico.
This multidisciplinary team, with experts from the various engineering fields, optics, industrial automation and computer programming, has developed hundreds of vision projects for a great number of clients from several industry segments. In this process, the team has accumulated tremendous experience in vision and in the other complementary technical disciplines, including robotics, motion control, industrial automation, integration to industrial networks and supervisory systems.

Besides the fully equipped application labs, a team of specialists is strategically positioned in some of the most important industrial centers of Brazil and Mexico to provide very fast and qualified response to our customers and partners technical assistance needs.
Startegic Partnerships
Pollux is member of the Automated Imaging Association (AIA) e has established important technical and business partnerships with companies from the USA and Europe.
Pollux is the local distributor for the world leader in machine vision: Cognex. The line of products includes the industry-standard vision sensors In-Sight and Checker, the Industrial ID readers for data matrix and other 1-D and 2-D codes, as well as the surface inspection systems – SmartView – for the non-woven, metal and other industries with continuous manufacturing processes (web inspection).
Pollux also implements and supports the systems for plastic injection mold protection – MoldWatcher – developed by the American company Avalon.
For the PC based solutions, Pollux applies the technology developed by the Belgium company Euresys.
Besides the above, the company maintains very close technical and commercial relations with innumerous technology and special components suppliers for industrial automation, robotics, optics and plant floor computer systems.
